Marvel Universe Series III uncut promos

Below we have the four uncut promos from the Marvel Universe Series III set. 

This uncut promo was found inside an issue of Diamond Previews. It's the most basic of the four uncut sheets. It features the Diamond logo on the back.

This uncut sheet was also found in Diamond Previews but features extra information on the side relating to the set.

This uncut promo was bound into Comic Buyer's Price Guide. If you look on either side of the promo, you can still see where the staples were in my scan. It also features the "Price Guide" logo on the back, replacing the "Diamond" logo.

This promo was available as a mail-in offer only and came packaged with an oversize checklist for this set. The sheets were, as you can tell from the golden sticker in the photo, numbered to a limited release of 30,000. They also feature the "Impel" logo on the back of the cards.  This is the gem of my Marvel Universe Series III collection. :) 

Marvel Universe Series II packs

Below are the three variations of the trading card packs for the Marvel Universe Series II trading card set. Each pack contains twelve cards.

Marvel Universe Series II base set

This is the base set for the Marvel Universe Series II set. In this set Marvel added a "power ratings" and the true identities of the character to the card backs. A very interesting set that will keep you interested for quite some time. Once again,I didn't add scans of every card but they can be found at "Make mine Marvel".

This is the five card hologram set for the Marvel Universe Series II set. 

Marvel Universe Series II oversize checklist

This is an oversize checklist for the Marvel Universe Series II set. Like the similar item in Series I, it was part of a mail-in offer to retailers. And just like the others, it was folded into thirds so that it would fit in the envelope sent to the retailers.

Marvel Universe Series II cello pack

This is the Marvel Universe Series II "cello pack". These cards were distributed to retailers in sealed cellophane packs to promote the upcoming series. They have the small "1991" text in the front corner like the variants of this same set as well as subtle differences on the back. Credit to abs-cards.net for the differences listed in the caption.

• The text "1991" in the upper left corner of the card front is printed in bold on the regular cards and in regular text on the promos.
• 1 Spider-Man - The 2nd line in the text on the card back ends with the word "accidentally" on the promo version whereas "accidentally" appears on the 3rd line on the regular card.
• 45 Silver Surfer - On the card back the "S" in "Silver Surfer" grazes the character's head on the promo version, but not on the regular card back.
• 51 Cyclops - The 2nd line in the text on the card back ends with the word "These" on the promo version, not on the regular card.
• 57 Magneto - The Power Ratings chart on the card back reads "6" for Durability and "5" for Intelligence on the promo version but reads "5" and "3", respectively, on the regular card.
• 124 Fantastic Four vs. Dr. Doom - The first word on the 2nd line of the copyright info on the card back reads "and"; on the regular card this line begins with "Exclusively"

Marvel Universe Series II print ad

  This is a print ad from the comic "Damage Control: The Movie". It features several of the cards from the Marvel Universe Series II set and I have included it here even though it's not an official promo card. I'm sure that it appeared in other comics and/or magazines, but this is the only one that I have come across. On a side note, it's possible that the cards pictured in the ad are part of the "small- text variant" set for this year. If that's the case, I'd like to know where these ultra-rare cards are now!
